125th Birthday of the Statue of Liberty

New York City, NY, November 3, 2011 — Here’s a video of the “Gift of Light” segment leading into the “Golden Mile” fireworks for the 125th Anniversary of the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor. The anniversary fireworks were presented by Pyro Spectaculars by Souza on October 28, 2011.

The weather was great for the display on Friday evening. It had rained all day on Thursday making the setup very difficult. On Saturday, a Noreaster came in bringing snow and ice to the city. We were all sure lucky to have such a beautiful evening for the celebration and the fireworks.

Pyro Spectaculars by Souza was thrilled to be a part of this historic occasion. Pyro Spectaculars by Souza also provided the fireworks for the 100th Anniversary of the Statue of Liberty in 1986.
