San Diego Lights Up with 2016 KGB Skyshow
Thank you to our wonderful crew and sponsors for 41st annual KGB Skyshow in San Diego, CA. We truly appreciate your hard work and dedication!
Each year since the mid-70’s, KGB radio station has hosted a spectacular San Diego tradition, the KGB Sky Show™. It is a beautiful production blending multi-media, theatrical lighting, video and special effects to enhance the fireworks display.
Additionally, it is all synchronized and choreographed to rock and roll music which is simultaneously broadcast on the radio. Of course the music can be listened to on the radio and the fireworks can be seen from the many neighborhoods surrounding Mission Valley, but you will want to be in the stadium for all the extras which over the years have included lasers, intelligent stage lighting, sky divers, movie special effects, propane flame effects, props, live talent, famous sports celebrities, the Rocket Man and marching bands.
KGB Sky Show 41 took place on Saturday, September 3, 2016 immediately following the SDSU Aztecs football game vs. New Hampshire (5:30 pm kickoff) at Qualcomm Stadium.
